The first workday was on Saturday April 16 at 11am.

We inspected several hives, starting with our HIve Increase Project.  It was interesting comparing the difference between it and a hive set up adjacent to it.  One had been fed with a top feeder since January and the other had not.  We also inspected several other hives at that location owned by Tim. Unfortunately, it was too cool to do a mite count.  We kept notes using both paper notes and the Hive Tracks mobile application.   Photos of the workday will be posted soon.

The next workday is on Saturday June 4 at 11am.

We have sponsors!  Thank you everyone!

Sponsors will be loaning the hardware needed for each new hive as the splits are made.  The first two will be sponsored by the club.  Club members will provide the rest.  Equipment will be returned to the owners at the end of the project
